# Request account deletion

This page explains how to request deletion of your Xue Chinese account and associated data. Xue Chinese is operated by Yudistira Ashadi.

## Choose how to request deletion

If you can open the app, go to **Profile -> Account Actions -> Delete account** and confirm.

If you cannot use the app, email us at [distra96@gmail.com](mailto:distra96@gmail.com?subject=Xue%20Chinese%20account%20deletion%20request) with the subject **Xue Chinese account deletion request**. Include the email address associated with your Xue Chinese account so we can identify it. Do not include your password or payment card details. We may ask you to verify that you own the account before processing the request.

## What happens to your data

When an in-app deletion succeeds, your account, authentication sessions, learning records, and local subscription entitlement snapshot are removed from our active application database. We also remove your account identifier from local subscription webhook events. A separate job requests deletion of the linked RevenueCat customer record; failed requests may need manual follow-up, and provider acceptance does not confirm completed erasure. Subscription event metadata may remain without your account identifier. Cloudflare Workers Logs are retained in the dashboard for three days. On our current Workers Free plan, the production database has a seven-day D1 Time Travel recovery window, so deleted data may remain recoverable during that period. Google Play and Apple may retain transaction records. We have not verified when all provider and recovery copies are erased. We delete account-deletion request emails and attachments that identify you within 30 days after completing the request, unless a specific legal or dispute reason requires longer retention. This email retention period does not mean that processor-side or recoverable backup copies are erased immediately.

## Subscriptions

Deleting your Xue Chinese account does not cancel a paid subscription. Cancel it separately in the Google Play or Apple subscription settings for the store where you subscribed.
